Storage conditions of carbon fiber felt mainly include temperature, humidity, light and dust prevention.
Temperature and humidity control: Carbon fiber felt should be stored in a dry and cool environment. The ideal storage temperature is between 15°C and 25°C, and the relative humidity should be less than 60%. Excessive humidity can easily cause the felt to mold or reduce its strength.
Avoid direct sunlight: Carbon fiber materials are sensitive to ultraviolet rays, and long-term exposure to sunlight may cause their performance to deteriorate. Therefore, carbon fiber felt should be stored in a dark place or covered with opaque materials.
Prevent mechanical damage: During handling and storage, avoid heavy objects on the carbon fiber felt to prevent it from being damaged. It should be placed flat and not in contact with sharp objects to avoid scratches or cuts.
Neat storage: The storage area should be kept clean to prevent dust and other contaminants from adhering to the carbon fiber felt. It can be covered with a dust cover to keep the material dry and clean.
Regular inspection: Regularly inspect the stored carbon fiber felt to ensure that it is not damp, moldy or otherwise damaged. This helps to detect problems in time, handle them appropriately, and avoid material waste.
